at the Kane Center
We are excited to have Poinsettia Power back in-person at the Kane Center! This year's festivities include tried-and-true favorites including the popular holiday shopping bazaar and the fashion show curated by Rose Meyerowich.
New this year is a Holiday Hat Parade. Guests are invited to attend the party with their best or most lavishly decorated hat to strut the runway. Judges will vote on the Best Decorated hat to win the grand prize.
In order to allow for more social distancing, we reduced attendance at this year's event. As a result, in-person seats sold out in record time! You can still participate--and support Meals on Wheels--by purchasing a Prize Drawing ticket. Win an Outdoor Adventure Package Getaway or a Restaurant Dine-Around Experience.
Click here to download a Prize Drawing ticket. Simply print and return with your payment to the Kane Center before December 1. Suggested minimum donation is $25. You don't have to be present to win!
All proceeds from this fun and festive event benefit Meals on Wheels in Martin County. The need for hot and hearty home-delivered meals is greater than ever. An average of 500 meals a day are prepared fresh at the Kane Center and delivered to needy, frail seniors in every corner of the county. Our goal is to raise $80,000 that will provide nearly 10,000 meals in 2022.
Please note: Masks will be required in the Kane Center during shopping and mingling, and may be taken off while enjoying lunch.

Event Impact

What a difference a year has made!

We can’t wait to hear the hustle and bustle of the holiday spirit as it fills the Town Center at the Kane Center with holiday vendors and happy shoppers picking up gifts for friends, family and of course something for ourselves.

We are thrilled to be able to take precautions so that we can welcome you back to the Kane Center to enjoy shopping, lunch and a wonderful fashion show highlighting new fall fashions, coordinated by Rose Meyerowich.

Your support of the “2020 Virtual Poinsettia Power” was extremely important. We are grateful that you stood by us, during the height of the pandemic and helped us raise more than $65,000. Your support helped us provide an additional 200 seniors with hot and healthy meals through the Meals on Wheels program, each day, all through the year, delivering 570 meals at peak.

Today, the Meals on Wheels program preps, prepares and packages an average of 500 meals daily, delivered by over 200 loyal and dedicated Meals on Wheels volunteers.

All proceeds from the Poinsettia Power, Holiday Bazaar, Luncheon & Fashion Show
benefit the Meals on Wheels program, our flagship program, now in our 47th year. I hope we can count on your support this year to help Meals on Wheels provide meals to 500+ seniors, daily, in 2022. We can’t do it without You!

Your gift means the world to our seniors:
√ Too weak or unsteady to safely cook
√ When the choice is between medicine and food
√ When both spouse and caregiver are infirmed
√ When a senior is homebound, ill or frail

For many of these vulnerable seniors, our volunteer may be the only person they see daily. Having someone who cares helps reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness.

Thank you for helping ensure our seniors remain healthy and active.
