Beginning April 1, we are returning to the pay-as-you-go format. All participants may enter through the front door and pay-per-class at the front desk. If you would like to purchase a punch card, please plan to come in as soon as possible to purchase, so we can expedite the class check-in process.

Advance registration is no longer required, however space is limited to 25 attendees to allow for social distancing. We cannot guarantee space for all walk-ins. If you would like to reserve in advance, call 772.223.7800. Face masks, temperature checks and social distancing are still required.

Zumba Gold: Mondays 9:15 a.m. | Tuesdays 10:30 a.m. Mondays 9:15 a.m. | Tuesdays 10:30 a.m. | Wednesdays 9 a.m. [NEW TIME!] | Fridays 8:30 a.m.

Senior Fitness: Mondays 1:30 p.m. | Tuesdays 12 p.m. Mondays 1:30 p.m. | Tuesdays 12 p.m. Thursdays 1:30 p.m.

Chair Yoga: Mondays 11 a.m. | Thursdays 11:30 a.m.

Tai Chi: Thursdays 10 a.m.

Zumba Gold

Instructor: Osvaldo Parrotta

Class Fee: $6 Kane Members, $7 Non-Members

Zumba Gold is a senior-friendly version of the popular Latin-inspired fitness dance workout. This very popular class is ideal for beginners and those who want an effective – and fun! – lower intensity, low impact workout.

Chair Yoga

Instructor: Grace Coffey

Class Fee: $8 Kane Members/ $10 Non-Members

Chair Yoga introduces participants to health-enhancing yoga postures, breathing techniques and meditation in a fun, nurturing and safe environment. It has been described as providing “physical lightness, mental calmness and emotional tranquility.” Students can choose to use either mats or chairs. The class, which is appropriate for all levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced), allows students to work according to their own flexibility and strength.

Senior Fitness

This program is designed to help those 55 and beter live healthy, active lifestyles while getting fit, having fun and making friends. The class emphasizes muscle range of motion, flexibility and coordination.

Tai Chi for Balance

Instructor: Grace Coffey

Class Fee: $8 Kane Members/ $10 Non-Members

Tai Chi is enjoyable, easy to learn and provides many health benefits. It is often described as “meditation in motion,” but it might well be called “medication in motion.” The program is a safe and effective system that enhances strength and flexibility, while reducing joint pain and stress. Qigong coordinates body posture and movement, breathing and meditation used for health and relaxation.
