This three-part educational event, presented by Senior Helpers of the Treasure Coast, is based on programs developed by dementia expert Teepa Snow. The workshop series focuses on understanding the various types and stages of dementia-related disorders and how to provide the best care and support for individuals with dementia. Workshop topics are: Recognizing & Understanding the Progression of Dementia; Positive & Effective Strategies for Dementia Care; and Techniques for Successful Dementia Care Interactions.
