Childhood stories set to music. The tale of 1001 Arabian Nights has been set to music in Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s 4 movement suite, Schehrazade and Alan Menken’s Aladdin. You will also hear Engelbert Humperdinck’s Prelude to Hansel and Gretel. The audience will be treated to Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite, John Williams E.T. – The Extra Terrestrial, and Camille Saint-Saens Carnival of the Animals. It’s some of the best loved stories set to music and narration.
