Dr. Arif Dalvi will return to the Kane Center to share his expertise about Parkinson's disease. Dr. Dalvi is the Director of the Memory and Movement Disorders Program at the Palm Beach Neuroscience Institute. His topic this year will focus on Coping with Medication Failure. In addition to Dr. Dalvi's lecture, Stephanie Van Allan, MA CCC-SLP, from Cleveland Clinic Martin Health will present "Speaking and Swallowing with Intent." Her brief program will include an interactive exercise and provide insights on the benefits of using speech therapy to help combat voice and swallowing changes brought on by Parkinson's disease.
