Caregiver Support Groups

The Council on Aging of Martin County hosts two free monthly caregiver support groups, where you can share tips, resources and experiences with other caregivers, under the direction of a licensed clinical social worker with in-depth experience in elder care issues.

Sessions are held the third Wednesday of each month:

10:30 a.m. - Noon

This morning caregiver support session is open to anyone who is caring for a frail senior.

3:30 - 5:00 p.m.  NOTE NEW TIME

The afternoon session focuses specifically on the dynamics of adult children who are caring for their aging parents.

No RSVP is required, unless you will need free respite care for your senior loved one while you attend the session.  If so, please RSVP to Crystal Collier, Program Manager of Adult Day Health at 772-223-7843 or at cecollier@kanecenter.org.

For more information about either caregiver support group,
contact Laura Zel Kremer at 561-209-6124 or laurak@morselife.org.
