Medicare Basics Presentation, Monday, June 19, 2:00 p.m.

SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) and the Florida Department of Elder Affairs will be holding a free Medicare basics presentation. Topics that will be discussed include: Original Medicare, Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicare Prescription drug Coverage, Medicare Supplement Insurance Policies and Medicare Prescription Drug Low-income Subsidy. SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders), part of the Area Agency on Aging, can help you determine which option is best for you. SHINE representatives are on site at the Kane Center on a regular basis.
 
Schedule your consultation with a SHINE counselor Monday through Friday at the Kane Center by calling 1-866-684-5885. You can learn more about SHINE at www.floridashine.org.
 
SHINE is a national, grant funded, free program offered by the Area Agency on Aging. Specially trained volunteers assist seniors and disabled adults with Medicare, Medicaid, and Long-term Care insurance questions by providing one-on-one counseling and information. SHINE services are free, unbiased, and confidential.
