Free Monthly Support Groups

Meeting the Third Wednesday of each Month at the Kane Center

The Council on Aging of Martin County hosts two free monthly caregiver support groups, held on the third Wednesday of each month at the Kane Center, 900 SE Salerno Road in Stuart.  Each group is  facilitated by Laura Zel Kremer, LCSW, Caregiver Counselor with Morse Life’s “Just Checking” program. 

10:30 a.m. - Noon

This morning caregiver support session is open to anyone who is caring for a frail senior. 

4 - 5:30 p.m.

The afternoon session focuses specifically on the dynamics of adult children who are caring for their aging parents. 

No RSVP is required, unless you will will need free respite care for your senior loved one while you attend the session.  If so, please RSVP to Crystal Collier, Program Manager of Adult Day Health at the Council on Aging, at 772-223-7843 or at
