Emergency Pantry

Imagine having to decide between purchasing medication or buying food. Unfortunately, there are seniors in our area who are faced with decisions just like this one.

The Council on Aging's Emergency Pantry is a resource for seniors who find themselves in extreme need. Our care managers, nutrition staff and health care professionals can access the pantry at a moment's notice for seniors who are in critical need of food. The Emergency Pantry is a temporary option that allows us to meet these elders' immediate needs while we evaluate their situation and set them up on a long-term basis with programs such as Meals on Wheels.
