The Council on Aging of Martin County was formed in 1974 to provide safety-net services designed to prolong seniors’ ability to live safely and comfortably in their own homes. By the turn of the 21st century, it became apparent that more would be needed to effectively serve the community’s ever-expanding senior population. The Kane Center grew out of a public-private partnership to build a state-of-the-art senior center in Martin County that would help all seniors live longer, healthier lives through a comprehensive array of social and medical services. Ten years later, that big vision has come to fruition ... and then some. Through a decade of expansion and innovation, the Kane Center now offers social, fitness, educational, cultural, healthcare, memory care, nutritional and caregiver support programs. Join the Council on Aging to remember the many milestones of the last decade, and take a look toward the bright future ahead.

Top sponsors for the 10th Anniversary Celebration are Oasis Senior Advisors, Philip DeBerard Injury Attorney, The Pointe at Ocean Boulevard, and the Sheridan at Hobe Sound. Proceeds from the event will support the Kane Center’s life-enriching programs and activities for seniors. The Kane Center is located at 900 SE Salerno Road in Stuart.
