A new way of aging has come to Martin County. One that encourages living life to its utmost . . . with joy, care, companionship and a true sense of belonging. One that embraces all elders while helping them to enjoy longer, healthier lives.
Named for a local couple who have championed senior issues, the $15 million Charles and Rae Kane Center has been developed through a public/philanthropic partnership, with nearly $5.8 million coming from public funds, the Florida Legislature and a grant from the Florida Department of Elder Affairs. Over four million (and growing) has been raised through philanthropic gifts.
The Kane Center is managed by the Council on Aging of Martin County, a leader in senior care on the Treasure Coast for 35 years and the area's only comprehensive senior service agency.
