The Council on Aging's new home, the Charles and Rae Kane Center, is now complete! This world-class facility is designed to be a full-service center, with activities and programs for all seniors, from the healthy to the frail. The Kane Center will allow the Council to dramatically expand its programs and services to accommodate the Treasure Coast's rapidly growing senior population.
The Kane Center has been made possible through a partnership of public funding and private philanthropy. Nearly $5.8 million in underwriting from the State of Florida was committed to this project, with remaining monies coming from private citizens who believe in a better future for Martin County's elders.
We are still in need of $1.7 million to complete the funding for this state-of-the-art, $15.5 million facility. Your gift is an ideal way to make a difference in the lives of all seniors, now and for generations to come.
Naming opportunities in a wide range of contribution levels are available for the Kane Center. Donors at levels of $1,000 and over are also prominently recognized on the Donor Wall of Honor in the Kane's Town Center area.
